Dominica 2/1-15
Well this was without doubt the best day in Dominica! (if not even the best day since we left Sweden the 18th of august?).
Passing fruit trees and flowers we went with Marcus up the hills to visit his son Kendall. He was really nice and showed us his beautiful gardens with fruit, vegetables and herbs. He gave us grape, avokado, herbs, cabbage, sugar cane and a huge cocoa!
Then we went to Kendalls family nearby, we had a great time and felt so much at home, dancing on the veranda, having Teresa’s fantastic peanut punsch and even a big lunch (with pork from their (previous) pig!). Wow what a family!
It was sad to leave but also exciting to go down to the city in the back of the pick-up on the steep roads overlooking the sun set into the ocean with Marcus and Kendall.
In the evening Engla, Ivar and I went with Marcus and his brother Lenn to a bar, dancing, hanging out and drinking rum (you would like it, grandpa!).
